In 2009, NARA passed Policy 120, which requires all dogs competing in Ring Sport pass a FCI recognized temperament test - either the BH or the CSAU. The "BH" has long been required for all Schutzhund competitors, and meets the requirements for competition in Ring Sport. In addition, NARA now offers the Certificat de Sociabilité et d'Aptitude ŕ l'Utilisation (CSAU), which is the temperament test offered and recognized in French Ring Sport.
